Michigan Attorney General retrieves more than $100M owed in child support

An article in today's Detroit Free Press by Kathleen Gray explains how since 2003, the Attorney General's child support enforcement unit has collected more than $100 million in child support from deadbeat parents.

The program was started by former Attorney General Mike Cox and succeeded in collecting more than $92 million through the end of December. Since Schuette took office in January, the office has collected $10 million more. The unit has a 25-person staff.
