What's happening this weekend?

Here are a few things happening this weekend around the Metro Detroit area. Have fun and stay cool!

  • Royal Oak Corn Roast & County Fair - This is an annual event at the Royal Oak Farmers Market. Highlights include great food, local bands, Dunk-A-Cop, kids’ corn and pie-eating contests, a moonwalk and more. Runs Saturday from 9 am to 4 pm.

  • Milford Memories Summer Festival - Live music, art fair, fishing contest, hot pepper and ice-cream-eating contests, a kids’ activity tent and a Civil War encampment and just a few of the events on the schedule. Runs Friday through Sunday, admission is free.

  • Green Cruise in Ferndale - This is Ferndale's pre-Dream Cruise party featuring the many eco-friendly ways to travel. See website for details. Saturday only.

  • Clawson's Down on Main Street Car Show - The 12th annual Clawson car show, also a pre-Dream Cruise event, taking place on Main Street downtown Clawson on Saturday 11 am to 7 pm. Fun for all ages!
